Power Control of Bending Heaters (SSR™)
for Tamglass ESU type bending furnaces

As the ESU bending furnaces are typically used in mixed windscreen production there is often a need for more precise power control of the bending heaters. For this need Glaston has developed the new upgrade, Power Control of Bending Heaters (SSR™). This feature takes the bending capability of your furnace to the same level with new ESU furnaces.

The advanced power control of bending heaters enables setting of smaller power values for glasses with shorter bending time thus allowing sufficient preheating time for bigger glasses.

Additionally the upgrade makes the bending of the more complex glass shapes possible.

In general, the upgrade enables more flexible production planning as the glass with different recipes can be processed consecutively without compromising the quality.
